Should a claim occur after normal business hours, over the weekend, or on a holiday, Meeker Sharkey & Hurley maintains a 24-hour claim notification service. In these cases, please call 1-866-971-1372 and a representative will direct you to the appropriate insurance company claim service department to report the loss.
In extreme cases when we can’t be reached directly, your carrier will expect you to take reasonable actions to protect your property from further damage. For example, reasonable expenses to mitigate loss include sealing a roof to prevent further water damage will be accepted by your carrier. Be sure to document your loss with photos to help adjusters verify damage.
