Earlier this month, OSHA issued a final rule to modernize injury data collection to better inform workers, employers, the public, and OSHA about workplace hazards.  The new federal requirements will take effect on August 10, 2016. Under the new rule, all establishments covered by the recordkeeping regulation, and with 250+ employees, must electronically submit information from OSHA Forms 300, 300A, and 301. In addition, some establishments with 20-249 employees must electronically submit information from Form 300A.
